Decaffeinated Coffee (swiss water process)

In the swiss water process, the coffee beans are soaked in extract made from green coffee beans letting the caffeine be extracted from the bean and into the extract while the flavor elements remain in the bean. The green coffee extract is then passed through a charcoal filter to remove the caffeine, thus becoming caffeine-free again and ready to extract caffeine from a new batch of coffee. The coffee beans are then dried with a result of being 99% caffeine free.

Colombia Supremo (SWP) Decaf – 14oz($15) 7oz($8) – mellow acidity and a strong caramel sweetness, perhaps with a nutty undertone. Medium/ Dark Roast
